Fokine Construction provides complete design and building services for everything from renovation to new construction. Many of our clients make use of our in-house design services. Fokine Construction also has a cooperative working relationship with many talented and creative architects and designers on the East End. We have developed a system over many years to manage the work and financial details of a project. Our fee for managing any project is based on a percentage of the costs, with all bookkeeping shared with the client. This creates a cooperative working relationship. We are happy to provide more information on how Construction Management could work for your project.
As part of our design and permitting services, Fokine Construction works with licensed Professionals to review and approve structural specifications and building code compliance details.
Over the past few decades, Fokine Construction has had the privilege of working on some of Shelter Island’s oldest structures. From restoring the Haven’s House Museum, ca 1743, to renovating over a dozen iconic Heights, Camp Grove, Victorian summer homes, ca 1870-1890 and many other historic homes needing updates, additions and repairs. Christian Fokine’s interest in history, traditional building design and craftsmanship from the past makes these projects of special interest.
